Marakele and Pilanesberg - January 2017

This was our first trip of the year and we spent four days in Marakele in their campsite and two in Pilanesberg where we camped at Bakgatla. In Marakele our new tent was converted into a lovely kite when the wind came up and there was a shortage of tent pegs to hold the tent down, At Bakgatla I assisted a chap erect his tent .

We had some lovely animal sightings and it has taken me some time to decide what pictures to post and how to present them.

We took lots of pictures when we got a chance and usually I would just pick one or two but this time I have made slide shows of some of the sets which we took.

The distance travelled was about one thousand three hundred kilometers.
